I had the opportunity to travel with Clemson Men’s Basketball to Toronto as they faced TCU in the Hall of Fame Series. I was given the privilege of managing photo and social content for the entirety of the trip.
My goal was to capture the team in a manner that showed off each player’s personality. To do so, I prioritized pictures that showed the team in more lifestyle situations during practices and travel - doing this allowed the audience to see the team more genuinely.
When posting on social and capturing photos, I make it a goal of mine to humanize the athletes and teams that consumers see through their phones. Following this content philosophy lets people gain a newfound respect for those they watch compete on TV.

When working, I try to keep my head on a swivel to capture special moments. I captured this reel during the alma mater after Clemson Men’s Basketball took down Boston College.
Capturing little, special moments such as the one below allows our social team to create more raw content. In this case, the content also helped us interact with the community of fans who support the team. Highlighting special moments has always been a priority of mine, even if it is done with something as simple as an iPhone video.
